Installation Notes
- Disconnect the boat's battery to prevent accidental starts.
- Close the raw water intake seacock.
- Place absorbent pads under the pump to catch any spilled coolant or water.
- Remove the screws from the raw water pump cover plate.
- Carefully pry off the cover. Note the orientation of the impeller blades.
- Remove the old impeller using needle-nose pliers or impeller puller tools.
- Clean the inside of the pump housing, removing any old debris or impeller fragments.
- Lightly lubricate the new impeller and the inside of the housing with a marine-safe lubricant.
