Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off, cool, and the battery is disconnected.
- Close the raw water intake seacock to prevent water from entering the vessel.
- Remove the water pump cover plate to access the impeller.
- Carefully thread the impeller puller tool clockwise into the threaded center of the impeller until it is snug.
- Hold the outer body of the puller and tighten the central bolt clockwise. This will push against the pump shaft and gently pull the impeller straight out of the housing.
- Once the impeller is removed, clean and inspect the pump housing for scoring or debris before installing the new impeller.
