Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is cool. Relieve any pressure in the fuel system safely.
2. Place rags under the old fuel pump to catch any spilled fuel. Note the orientation of fuel lines.
3. Carefully disconnect the fuel inlet, outlet, and pulse hoses from the pump.
4. Unbolt and remove the old fuel pump assembly from the engine block.
5. Clean the mounting surface on the engine, ensuring no old gasket material remains.
