Troubleshooting & FAQ
Will this kit fit my engine? There seems to be a conflict regarding shaft length.
The compatibility data for this kit shows some conflicts. While it fits many 15" (short) and 20" (long) shaft models, some sources indicate it also fits 25" (extra-long) shafts, while another explicitly says it will not. The most reliable method to ensure a match is to verify the OEM part number required for your specific motor (e.g., 06192-ZW9-A30) before purchasing.
What are the signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Common symptoms include a weak or intermittent water stream from the "tell-tale" outlet, engine overheating alarms activating, or a general loss of engine performance. A worn, brittle, or damaged impeller cannot pump water effectively, leading to poor cooling.
How often should I replace my impeller?
For preventative maintenance, it is recommended to inspect the impeller annually and replace it every 1-2 years or 100-200 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Operation in saltwater or sandy/silty conditions may require more frequent replacement.
What is the difference between an OEM and an aftermarket part?
This listing is for an aftermarket replacement, not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part. It is built to meet or exceed OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Our parts are manufactured in an ISO 9002 certified facility and are batch-inspected to ensure quality and consistency.
How fast is shipping and what does it cost?
We ship worldwide quickly, with typical transit times of 5–15 days for most regions. Standard shipping is free. Expedited shipping options, where available, will be presented at checkout.
What is the warranty and return policy?
This product is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard window for items that are unused and in their original condition. See our full policy page or reach out for instructions.
Safety & Important Info
- Verify images and specifications against your original part before purchase. If anything differs—even if your model appears on a compatibility list—do not purchase.
- This is an aftermarket replacement part, not an OEM component.
- Professional installation is recommended for safety and optimal performance.
