Troubleshooting & FAQ
How often should I replace this fuel filter?
Replacement intervals vary by engine and operating conditions. Many applications are serviced annually or at approximately 100 operating hours, but the engine manufacturer's service manual takes priority.
What are the signs of a clogged or failing fuel filter?
Possible symptoms include hesitation, sputtering, difficult starting, rough idling, reduced power and stalling, particularly under load. A clear housing may also reveal sediment or debris.
Is this filter compatible with ethanol-blended fuels such as E10?
The listed construction is intended for gasoline and ethanol-blended fuel applications such as E10. Follow the fuel-system requirements and maintenance schedule specified for your engine.
How can I confirm fitment for my engine?
Start by comparing the filter installed on your engine with the Part Number Matrix. Then verify the brand, model family, horsepower, stroke, year and any applicable serial-number range. If any of these details do not match, consult the engine service manual or a qualified marine technician before ordering.
Is this an OEM filter?
No. This listing is for an aftermarket replacement intended to match the listed reference numbers and application details. It is not marketed as a genuine OEM component.
Does this filter include hoses, clamps or other installation hardware?
No. The package contains one in-line fuel filter only. Reuse existing hardware only if it is in suitable condition and compatible with the installation.
What are the shipping and return terms?
Typical transit is 5–15 days for standard worldwide shipping where available. Expedited options, delivery estimates and applicable return conditions are shown at checkout or in the store's current policies.
What warranty applies?
Applicable aftermarket versions are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Contact support with your order details if a warranty issue occurs.
