Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I know if this filter fits my engine?
Confirm the complete engine model, year, stroke type and original filter reference. Compare the original element and housing with the compatibility tables and part-number matrix before ordering.
Does the package include O-rings?
Yes. The package includes one fuel filter element and two O-ring seals. The housing and other engine components are not included.
What is the recommended replacement interval?
Replace the filter according to the engine manufacturer’s service schedule. If no schedule is available, inspect it during routine maintenance and replace it when contaminated, restricted or damaged.
What are the signs of a restricted fuel filter?
Possible symptoms include hesitation, loss of power, difficult starting, stalling, rough running or reduced high-speed performance. These symptoms can have several causes, so inspect the complete fuel system before replacing parts.
Can it be used with E10 gasoline?
The filter is intended for gasoline applications. Use ethanol-blended fuel only when the engine and fuel system manufacturer approve that fuel, and follow the applicable service instructions.
Is this a complete water-separating fuel filter?
This listing is for a replacement filter element and seals. Water-separation performance depends on the original filter housing and bowl. It is not a replacement for a separate external water-separating fuel filter system when one is required.
Is this an OEM part?
No. This is an aftermarket replacement component intended for the listed applications. OEM and aftermarket reference numbers are shown for identification and cross-reference purposes.
Safety & Important Information
- Fuel is flammable. Work in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources and dispose of spilled fuel safely.
- Verify the exact engine model, year, stroke configuration, serial range where applicable and original filter housing before purchase.
- Do not operate the engine if fuel leaks are present.
- Professional installation is recommended when the correct service procedure or torque specification is uncertain.
