  • In-line installation under the engine cowl.
  • Clear or translucent housing helps allow visual inspection of the filter contents.
  • Barbed push-on fuel-line connections.
  • Designed for gasoline applications, including commonly used E10 fuel blends.
  • Sonically sealed end caps for a sealed filter assembly.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × In-line fuel filter

Fuel-line clamps, hoses and other installation hardware are not listed as included components.

Installation Notes

  1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool completely. Follow the engine manufacturer's procedure for relieving fuel-system pressure.
  2. Place an absorbent rag or suitable container beneath the filter to catch residual fuel.
  3. Note the fuel-flow direction. If an arrow is marked on the filter, it must point toward the engine.
  4. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the fuel lines from both ends of the old filter.
  5. Install the replacement filter in the same orientation and confirm that the hose size matches the barbed connections.
  6. Secure the fuel lines with suitable clamps. Do not overtighten or damage the filter housing.
  7. Prime the fuel system with the primer bulb, then inspect the filter and all connections for leaks before starting the engine.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

How do I confirm fitment?

Match the number on your existing filter with the reference numbers above, then verify the engine brand, model, horsepower, stroke and serial-number range. Also confirm the fuel-line size and flow direction. Do not rely on horsepower alone.

What are signs that a fuel filter needs replacement?

Possible symptoms include hesitation, sputtering, loss of power, hard starting or stalling. A clear housing may also show sediment, discoloration or water contamination.

How often should the filter be replaced?

Replace the filter according to the engine manufacturer's maintenance schedule. Inspect it more frequently when operating in contaminated fuel, dusty conditions or other severe environments.

Can it be used with ethanol-blended fuel?

The supplied product information lists this filter for gasoline and commonly used E10 blends. Always follow the fuel recommendations for your engine and inspect the filter for deterioration during routine maintenance.

Is this an OEM part?

No. This is an aftermarket replacement filter. The reference numbers identify the applications it is intended to replace; they do not indicate that the product is manufactured by the original engine brand.

What are the shipping and warranty terms?

Shipping availability, delivery estimates, warranty coverage and return eligibility depend on the current order and store policies. Review the applicable policy information at checkout or contact customer support before ordering if these terms are important to your purchase.

Safety and Important Information

  • Work in a well-ventilated area away from flames, sparks and other ignition sources.
  • Wear suitable eye protection and handle spilled fuel according to local safety requirements.
  • Verify the part number, hose size, flow direction and complete engine identification before installation.
  • Do not operate the engine if fuel leaks are present.
  • Professional installation is recommended if you are not familiar with marine fuel systems.
