Installation Notes

1. Shut off the fuel supply to the engine and ensure the engine is cool.
2. Locate the existing fuel filter. It is typically found along the fuel line between the fuel tank and the engine.
3. Place absorbent rags or a container under the filter to catch any spilled fuel.
4. Carefully disconnect the fuel lines from both ends of the old filter. Note the direction of fuel flow, usually indicated by an arrow on the filter housing.
5. Unscrew or unclamp the old filter from its mounting bracket.
6. Install the new filter, ensuring the arrow points in the correct direction of fuel flow.
7. Securely reconnect the fuel lines to the new filter.
8. Turn the fuel supply back on and check for any leaks around the connections.
9. Prime the fuel system according to your engine manufacturer's instructions. Start the engine and check again for leaks.
10. Safely dispose of the old filter and any fuel-soaked rags in accordance with local environmental regulations.
