Engine and Model Compatibility
The applications below are reference information for seals listed under the corresponding part number. Confirm the complete engine model, stroke or displacement, and serial-number range before installation. A number appearing in a catalog or cross-reference does not by itself confirm every model in a product family.

Troubleshooting and FAQ
How do I confirm fitment?
Compare the original seal's manufacturer number and dimensions with the cross-reference and specification information above. Also verify the exact engine or sterndrive model and serial-number range. If the original part, housing or dimensions differ, do not assume compatibility.
What are signs of a failing propeller-shaft oil seal?
Possible signs include milky or creamy gear lubricant caused by water contamination, falling lubricant level, visible lubricant near the propeller shaft, or an oily sheen around the drive. Inspect and pressure-test the gearcase according to the applicable service procedure.
Is this a driveshaft or propeller-shaft seal?
The listed application is a gear housing or propeller-shaft oil seal used at the applicable bearing-carrier or gear-housing location. Confirm the exact position in the service manual for your unit.
Can the old seal be reused?
No. Oil seals are normally single-use parts, and removal can damage the sealing lip or casing even when damage is not immediately visible.
What lubricant or sealant should be used?
Use the lubricant or sealant specified by the engine or sterndrive service manual. A light film of compatible marine grease can help protect the sealing lip during installation; avoid contaminating the sealing surfaces.
Is this an OEM part?
No. This listing is for an aftermarket replacement seal supplied against the listed OEM and aftermarket reference numbers.
Safety and Important Information
- Verify the original part number, dimensions, engine or sterndrive model, and serial number before purchase and installation.
- Follow the applicable manufacturer service manual for removal, installation, lubricant type and gearcase pressure testing.
- Professional installation is recommended when bearing-carrier removal or gearcase service is required.
- Do not operate the unit if gear lubricant leaks or water intrusion is detected until the cause has been corrected.
