Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery's negative terminal for safety.
- Carefully relieve the pressure from the fuel system according to the manufacturer's service manual.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the existing fuel injectors.
- Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts and carefully lift the rail with injectors away from the engine.
- Remove the retaining clips and pull the old injectors from the fuel rail. Note their orientation.
- Lubricate the O-rings on the new injectors with clean engine oil and press them firmly into the fuel rail.
- Reinstall the retaining clips and mount the fuel rail back onto the engine, tightening bolts to the specified torque.
- Reconnect the electrical connectors to each new injector.
- Reconnect the battery terminal, prime the fuel system, and turn the key to the 'On' position (without starting) to check for leaks.
- If no leaks are present, start the engine and let it run, checking again for any signs of fuel leakage.
