This Whale Tail Hydrofoil Stabilizer – Fits Outboard Motors 8-40 HP (Blue) is designed for small outboard motors, improving boat handling, reducing planing time, and enhancing overall performance. It fits most Yamaha, Mercury, Johnson, Evinrude, Honda, Suzuki, and Tohatsu outboard motors from 8 to 40 HP, and is compatible with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Some outboards down to 4 HP may also be compatible.

This hydrofoil serves as a direct replacement for SeaSierra FO2002, StingRay Junior 2, and SE Sport 200 hydrofoils.

Mounts directly to the anti-cavitation plate.
Installation requires drilling; a drill bit and stainless steel hardware are included.

Installation Notes

Center the hydrofoil on the outboard's anti-cavitation plate. Ensure it is positioned correctly for optimal performance.
Mark the four drill hole locations on the plate using the hydrofoil as a template.
Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four holes using the included 6.5mm drill bit.
Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning the holes.
Insert the stainless steel screws from the top and secure them with the nuts from the bottom. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten to avoid damaging the plate.
