Installation Notes

- Place an absorbent rag beneath the filter housing to catch spilled fuel.

- Remove the used filter element and dispose of it in accordance with local requirements.
- Clean the inside of the filter cup and inspect the O-ring. Replace a damaged or hardened O-ring before reassembly.
- Install the new filter element in the cup.
- Reinstall the cup and tighten it according to the engine manufacturer's service instructions. Do not overtighten.
- Restore the fuel supply and prime the fuel system.
- Start the engine and check the filter housing carefully for fuel leaks.
