Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and tilt the outboard to a safe position that provides access to the lower unit.
2. Locate the existing trim tab anode and compare its shape and mounting hole with the replacement.
3. Remove the mounting bolt and old anode. Corroded hardware may require penetrating lubricant and appropriate tools.
