Installation Notes

Shut off the engine and close the raw water intake seacock.
Locate the sea water pump housing and remove the end cover screws.
Carefully remove the old impeller. Use impeller pullers or two screwdrivers if necessary, being cautious not to score the housing.
Clean any debris from the impeller housing and inspect it for scoring or wear.
Apply a small amount of water-resistant grease or soap to the new impeller and inside the housing.
Insert the new impeller, rotating it in the direction of engine operation to bend the blades correctly.
Install the new gasket or o-rings provided in the kit.
Reinstall the pump cover and tighten the screws evenly.
Open the seacock, start the engine, and immediately check for leaks and proper water flow from the exhaust.
