What’s in the Box

Installation Notes

1. Shut off the engine and close the raw water intake valve (seacock).
2. Access the raw water pump and remove the screws holding the cover plate.
3. Gently pry off the cover. Note the direction the old impeller's blades are bent.
4. Remove the old impeller using needle-nose pliers or a dedicated impeller puller tool.
5. Clean any debris or old gasket material from the pump housing and the cover plate's inner surface.
6. Install the new gasket or O-ring onto the pump body.
7. Lightly lubricate the new impeller with glycerin or dish soap (do not use petroleum grease).
8. Insert the new impeller into the housing, twisting in the direction of engine rotation to correctly bend the blades.
9. Reinstall the pump cover plate and tighten the screws evenly.
10. Open the raw water seacock before starting the engine.
11. Start the engine and immediately check for proper water flow and for any leaks around the pump cover.
