Troubleshooting & FAQ
How can I confirm this impeller fits my specific engine?
The best method is to verify your existing part number. Compare it against the extensive list in our Part Number Matrix. Additionally, check the technical specifications—particularly the diameter, width, and shaft size—against your old impeller.
What are common signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Overheating at idle or low speeds is the most common sign. Other indicators include a weak or no water stream from the exhaust outlet, visible cracks or missing blades on the impeller, or a hardened, inflexible texture.
How often should I replace my impeller?
For most recreational boats, it's recommended to inspect the impeller annually and replace it every 1-2 years, regardless of appearance. In commercial or high-hour applications, replacement may be needed more frequently.
Why use a neoprene impeller?
Neoprene (CR) is a robust, flexible rubber compound that is well-suited for use in engine cooling pumps where some contamination from oil or fuel may be present. It offers excellent durability and a long service life in raw water applications.
Is this an OEM part or an aftermarket replacement?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). It is built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. The part is manufactured in an ISO 9002 certified facility and is batch-inspected for consistency and quality.
What are the shipping speed and cost?
We ship worldwide quickly—typical transit is 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free to most locations, with expedited options available at checkout where applicable.
What is the warranty and return policy?
This product is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use conditions. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard window for unused items in their original condition. See our policy page or reach out for instructions.
Safety & Important Info
- Verify images and specifications against your original part. If anything differs—even if your model appears compatible—do not purchase.
