Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.
2. Safely relieve any pressure in the fuel system. Place absorbent rags around the fuel lines to catch any spills.
3. Carefully clamp and disconnect the fuel inlet and outlet hoses, noting their orientation.
4. Unscrew the mounting bolts holding the old fuel pump in place and remove the pump.
5. Thoroughly clean the engine mounting surface to remove any old gasket material or debris.
6. Position the new gasket onto the engine block.
7. Mount the new fuel pump and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque. Do not overtighten.
8. Securely reconnect the fuel hoses to the correct fittings on the new pump.
9. Reconnect the battery, prime the fuel system according to your engine's manual, and carefully check for any leaks before starting the engine.
