Installation Notes

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure according to your engine's service manual to avoid spills.
3. Carefully label and disconnect the inlet and outlet fuel lines from the old pump.
4. Remove the mounting bolts securing the pump to the engine block.
5. Remove the old pump and discard the old gasket. Thoroughly clean the mounting surface.
6. Place the new gasket onto the engine block, aligning it with the mounting holes.
7. Install the new fuel pump, ensuring it is seated correctly against the gasket.
8. Tighten the mounting bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
9. Reconnect the fuel lines to the correct ports on the new pump.
10. Reconnect the battery terminal, prime the fuel system, and start the engine.
11. Carefully inspect for any fuel leaks around the pump and fittings while the engine is running.
