This whale tail style Marine Hydrofoil Stabilizer – Fits Yamaha, Mercury, Johnson 8-40 HP Outboards is designed for most outboard motors between 8-40 HP. It improves overall boat performance by getting on plane faster, reducing bow rise, and increasing fuel efficiency. Compatibility extends up to 300 HP for many models, with the exception of Mercury 4-stroke 40, 50, and 60 HP engines.

This unit is a direct replacement for NorthBoat FO2002, UANOFCN 20HS001-Blue, and SeaSierra 200HS.

Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and the boat is securely trailered or docked.
Position the hydrofoil on the cavitation plate of your outboard motor. Center it and ensure it is level.
Mark the locations for the bolt holes through the guides on the hydrofoil.
Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the marked holes.
Re-position the hydrofoil and align the holes.
Insert the mounting bolts and securely tighten the nuts. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the cavitation plate or hydrofoil.
After the first use, re-check the hardware to ensure it remains tight.
