Installation Notes
- Close the water intake seacock.
- Loosen the screws and remove the water pump cover plate.
- Use pliers or a suitable tool to grip the old impeller hub and pull it straight out. Note the direction of the old blades.
- Clean the inside of the pump housing, removing any debris or old gasket material.
- Lightly lubricate the new impeller and the housing interior with a marine-safe lubricant.
- Insert the new impeller, bending the blades in the same direction as the old ones, and align it with the keyway.
- Place the new gasket and O-ring in position.
- Reinstall the cover plate and tighten the screws evenly.
- Open the seacock and start the engine, checking immediately for leaks.
