- Tilt the outboard engine up and secure it to prevent accidental lowering.
- Locate the existing trim tab anode on the anti-ventilation plate.
- Use an appropriately sized wrench to remove the single M6 mounting bolt holding the old anode.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface on the engine to ensure a solid electrical connection for the new anode.
- Position the new anode plate and fasten it with an M6 x 35mm screw (not included). Tighten securely but do not overtighten.
