Troubleshooting & FAQ
How do I confirm this kit fits my specific engine model?
First, check the Engine & Model Compatibility table to ensure your model, horsepower, and year range are listed. Then, cross-reference your existing part number (if known) with the list in the Part Number Matrix to confirm it is a direct equivalent.
Does this kit service one or two carburetors?
This kit includes all the necessary components to rebuild a complete twin (2-carburetor) assembly. The quantities listed in "What’s in the Box" reflect this.
What are common symptoms of a carburetor needing a rebuild?
Signs you may need a rebuild include difficulty starting, rough or inconsistent idling, stalling at low speeds, poor acceleration, hesitation, visible fuel leaks, or a noticeable increase in fuel consumption.
Should I clean my carburetors or rebuild them?
A rebuild is recommended over a simple cleaning if the gaskets and seals are old, brittle, or leaking. This kit replaces all common wear items (floats, needle valves, gaskets) to ensure a reliable, long-lasting repair, which cleaning alone cannot guarantee.
OEM vs. Aftermarket?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.
