Troubleshooting & FAQ

How do I confirm this fuel pump fits my engine?

Verify that your original fuel pump's part number is listed in our Part Number Matrix. Additionally, check your engine's model, HP, and year against the Engine & Model Compatibility table. Visually comparing the new part to your old one is also a critical step.

What are common signs of a failing fuel pump?

Symptoms include difficulty starting, engine sputtering at high speeds, stalling, hesitation during acceleration, and a general loss of power. These issues occur when the pump can no longer supply the engine with a consistent volume or pressure of fuel.

What is the purpose of the 3-nipple design?

The three nipples are for the fuel inlet (from the tank), the fuel outlet (to the carburetor), and a pulse line connected to the engine's crankcase. The pressure pulses from the crankcase operate the pump's internal diaphragm, drawing fuel in and pushing it out.

Is a new gasket included with the pump?

Yes, a new mounting gasket (part 303615) is included in the package, along with mounting straps. It is essential to use the new gasket to ensure a proper seal.

When should this fuel pump be replaced?

There is no fixed replacement interval. Replace it when you observe signs of failure. It is good practice to inspect fuel lines and the pump for cracks, leaks, or degradation during regular annual service.

How does an aftermarket part compare to OEM?

This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). It is built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials for fit and function. Our parts are manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility and are batch-inspected for quality and consistency.

What are your shipping speed and cost?

We ship worldwide quickly—typical transit is 5–15 days. Standard shipping is free to most regions, with expedited options available at checkout where applicable.

What is the warranty and return policy?

This product is covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team with your order details. Returns are accepted within our standard window_ for unused items in their original condition. See our policy page or reach out for instructions.

Safety & Important Info

  • Verify images/specifications vs your original part. If anything differs—even if your model appears compatible—do not purchase.
  • This is an aftermarket replacement, not an OEM component.
