Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and relieve any pressure in the fuel system according to your engine's service manual.
Place absorbent rags or a container below the fuel pump to catch any spilled fuel.
Carefully disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector from the pump.
Remove the mounting bolts holding the old fuel pump in place.
Remove the pump and the old O-ring. Thoroughly clean the mounting surface on the engine.
Lightly lubricate and install the new O-ring, ensuring it is seated correctly.
Mount the new fuel pump and tighten the bolts evenly to the manufacturer's specified torque.
Reconnect the fuel lines and electrical connector, using the new clamps if provided.
Reconnect the battery.
Prime the fuel system as per your engine's procedure and carefully check for any leaks before starting the engine.
