This dorsal fin style Hydrofoil Stabilizer is designed for outboard motors and stern drives from 5 to 150 HP. By mounting to the anti-ventilation plate, it helps boats get on plane faster, reduces bow rise and porpoising, and can significantly improve fuel efficiency at cruising speeds. It offers a universal fit for a wide range of Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki, Tohatsu, Johnson, and Evinrude models.

Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and the boat is securely trailered or on a lift.
Place the hydrofoil on the anti-ventilation plate, ensuring it is centered.
Mark the drilling-hole locations on the plate through the mounting holes of the hydrofoil.
Remove the hydrofoil and drill the marked holes using an appropriately sized drill bit.
Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, aligning the holes.
Insert the stainless steel bolts from the top and attach the nuts from the bottom.
Tighten the hardware securely, but do not overtighten to avoid cracking the plate.
Check for a firm fit with no movement. The installation is now complete.
