Installation Notes
- Ensure the engine is off and the boat is securely positioned out of the water.
- Position the hydrofoil onto the anti-cavitation plate of your outboard motor, centering it so it is flush.
- Mark the locations for the four mounting holes through the guides on the hydrofoil.
- Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes using the included drill bit.
- Align the hydrofoil with the newly drilled holes and secure it with the included mounting hardware.
- Check that the hydrofoil is tight and does not interfere with the propeller's full range of movement.

How do I know if this hydrofoil will fit my motor?
This hydrofoil is designed for most outboard motors between 8-40 HP. It also fits many larger engines up to 300 HP, with the specific exception of Mercury 4-stroke 40, 50, and 60 HP models. Always measure your anti-cavitation plate to ensure the 13.5" x 14" dimensions will fit without obstructing the propeller.
What performance benefits can I realistically expect?
