Installation Notes

1. Shut off the fuel supply to the engine and disconnect the battery for safety.
2. Place an approved container or absorbent rags under the existing filter to catch any fuel spillage.
3. Locate the filter in the fuel line and note the fuel flow direction, usually indicated by an arrow on the filter body.
4. Carefully loosen the hose clamps on both sides of the old filter.
5. Gently twist and pull the fuel hoses off the old filter.
6. Position the new filter, ensuring the flow arrow points toward the engine.
7. Slide the fuel hoses onto the new filter's connections and secure them tightly with the hose clamps.
8. Reconnect the battery and turn the fuel supply on. Prime the fuel system if necessary and inspect carefully for any leaks before starting the engine.
