- Place a rag or container under the existing filter to catch any fuel spillage.
- Loosen the clamps on both sides of the old fuel filter and carefully slide them off the hose barbs.
- Gently twist and pull the old filter out of the fuel lines. Note the direction of the fuel flow arrow on the old filter.
- Install the new filter, making sure the fuel flow arrow points in the correct direction (towards the engine).
- Securely fasten the clamps on the new filter connections.
- Turn the fuel supply back on and prime the fuel system if necessary.
