Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool completely. Relieve fuel system pressure if your service manual recommends it.
2. Place a drain pan beneath the existing filter to catch any fuel spillage.
3. Identify the fuel flow direction, typically marked with an arrow on the filter body.
4. Carefully loosen the hose clamps and disconnect the fuel lines from the old filter.
5. Install the new filter, making sure the flow arrow points in the same direction (towards the engine).
6. Securely attach the fuel lines and tighten the clamps.
7. Prime the fuel system according to the manufacturer's procedure. Start the engine and inspect carefully for any leaks around the connections.
