Installation Notes

1. Ensure the engine is off and completely cool before starting.
2. Locate the existing fuel filter, typically found under the engine cowling along the fuel line.
3. Place a rag or small container under the filter to catch any residual fuel.
4. Carefully loosen the clamps on the inlet and outlet hoses of the old filter.
5. Gently twist and pull the hoses off the filter. Note the fuel flow direction, usually marked with an arrow on the filter housing.
6. Position the new filter with the flow arrow pointing towards the engine (away from the fuel tank).
7. Connect the fuel hoses to the new filter and secure them firmly with the provided clamps.
8. If your engine has a primer bulb, squeeze it several times until it feels firm to fill the new filter with fuel.
9. Start the engine and carefully inspect the filter and hose connections for any signs of leaks.
