- Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the battery for safety.

- Locate the existing inline fuel filter under the engine cowl. Place a rag underneath to catch any spilled fuel.
- Carefully loosen the clamps on both ends of the old filter and gently twist to remove the fuel lines.

- Install the new filter, ensuring the arrow points in the same direction of fuel flow (towards the engine).
