Troubleshooting & FAQ

How do I know if this gasket fits my engine?

This gasket fits most Suzuki 4-stroke outboards from 25 HP to 350 HP (2000–Present). To be certain, please consult the detailed compatibility table on this page to confirm your specific model and year range.

Can I reuse my old gasket?

No. This is a single-use crush washer. It is designed to deform upon tightening to create a perfect seal. Reusing an old gasket significantly increases the risk of oil leaks, which could lead to engine damage.

What are the signs of a failing drain plug gasket?

The most common sign of a failed or improperly installed gasket is an oil leak originating from the drain plug area. You may notice drips on the ground or an oily residue around the plug itself.

How often should this gasket be replaced?

This gasket should be replaced every time you perform an oil change to ensure a fresh, reliable seal. It is a critical, low-cost component of routine maintenance.

OEM vs. Aftermarket?

This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.
