This marine-grade stainless steel Skeg Guard is engineered to protect and repair damaged skegs on a wide range of Yamaha outboard and I/O sterndrive motors. It fits select Yamaha 150-175 HP 2 & 4-Stroke (1984–Present), 200 HP HPDI (2000–2012), 200 HP 4-Stroke (2012–Present), 300 HP 4-Stroke (2007–2009), and 350 HP 4-Stroke (2007–Present) models.

This component serves as a direct replacement for Yamaha 27151, Quickmarine 27151, Supreme Marine 1902, and Megaware SkegGuard 27151.

Installs using a simple drill-and-bolt method with included hardware.

Installation is straightforward and takes approximately 5 minutes. It can be installed on damaged skegs with as little as 2-3 inches of the original skeg remaining. The process requires drilling two 1/4-inch holes through the outboard or sterndrive skeg using the included hardware.

Possibly not. While this guard fits many models, some Yamaha 200-300 HP engines from 2003-Present may require part number 27030 instead. Please double-check your motor’s specific requirements before ordering.
