Installation Notes

1. Turn off the engine and allow it to cool completely. Disconnect the boat's battery for safety.
2. Work on one spark plug wire at a time to avoid mixing up cylinder connections.
3. Gently twist and pull the boot to remove the old wire from the spark plug. Then, disconnect the other end from the ignition coil.
4. Compare the new wire to the old one. If the new wire is longer, carefully trim it to the correct length with a quality wire cutting tool.
5. Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the inside of both boots on the new wire to ensure a good seal and prevent corrosion.
6. Firmly press the new wire's boot onto the spark plug until it clicks into place. Connect the other end to the corresponding terminal on the ignition coil.
7. Repeat the process for the remaining wires, ensuring each is routed correctly and secured away from hot or moving parts.
8. Once all wires are replaced, reconnect the battery, start the engine, and check for smooth operation.
