Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and ensure the engine is cold.
Remove any covers or components obstructing access to the timing belt area.
Carefully align the engine to Top Dead Center (TDC) according to your service manual. Mark the camshaft and crankshaft positions.
Loosen the old tensioner bolt to release tension on the belt.
Remove the old timing belt and tensioner.
Install the new tensioner, but do not fully tighten it yet.
Install the new timing belt, ensuring it is correctly routed and aligned with your marks.
Apply tension to the belt with the new tensioner as specified in your engine's service manual. Tighten the tensioner bolt to the correct torque.
Manually rotate the engine through two full revolutions and re-check timing marks and belt tension.
Reinstall all previously removed components and reconnect the battery.
