Installation Notes
- Tilt your outboard motor to the full "up" position.
- Identify the main hydraulic trim/tilt ram on your motor.
- Clip the transom saver securely onto the exposed ram. Ensure it is centered and stable.
- Slowly lower the motor until it makes firm contact with the transom saver, compressing it slightly. Do not apply excessive pressure.
- Once the motor is supported, straighten the engine and attach the two hydraulic steering cylinder locks to the steering rams on either side.
- Check that the motor is stable and does not move side-to-side before trailering.
