Troubleshooting & FAQ

How do I know if my water pump impeller is worn?

Possible signs include weak or absent telltale water flow, an overheating warning, steam, or reduced cooling performance. Inspect the impeller whenever cooling-water flow is reduced.

How often should a water pump impeller be replaced?

Replacement intervals depend on engine use, storage and operating conditions. Inspect the impeller according to your engine manufacturer’s maintenance schedule and replace it if the vanes are cracked, permanently set, damaged or worn.

Does this impeller fit every Suzuki DF60, DF70, DF80 or DF90?

No. Fitment is limited to the model and year ranges listed in the compatibility table. Confirm the exact model designation and compare the original impeller and part references before ordering.

Is this an OEM Suzuki part?

No. This is an aftermarket replacement impeller. Suzuki OEM part numbers are shown only as compatibility references.

Does the product include the key?

Yes. This product includes one water pump impeller and one installation key.

Can I install it myself?

Impeller replacement requires removal of the lower unit and correct reassembly of the water pump. It should be performed by a qualified technician or by anyone with the appropriate service information, tools and experience.
