Install the new components from the kit in the reverse order of removal, ensuring the impeller key is correctly seated.
Lightly grease the new gaskets and O-rings before installation.
Re-install the water pump housing and torque the bolts to the manufacturer's specification.
Re-attach the lower unit, refill the gearcase with fresh oil, and reconnect the battery.
Start the engine using a water supply (flushing muffs) and verify a steady stream of water from the tell-tale outlet.
