Installation Notes
- Disconnect the battery and shift the outboard into neutral.
- Drain the gearcase oil from the lower unit.

- Lubricate the new impeller and internal housing with marine grease.
- Reassemble the water pump housing, ensuring all seals and gaskets are correctly seated. Torque bolts to manufacturer specifications.
- Reinstall the lower unit, reconnecting the shift shaft and drive shaft.
- Refill the gearcase with fresh oil. Reconnect the battery and test the engine using a water supply (flushing muffs), confirming a strong water stream from the tell-tale.
