Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery terminals, starting with the negative cable.
Loosen the belt tensioner and carefully remove the alternator drive belt.
Identify and disconnect the electrical connectors from the back of the old alternator.
Remove the mounting bolts securing the alternator to the engine bracket.
Lift the old alternator out of the engine bay.
Position the new alternator and loosely tighten the mounting bolts.
Reconnect the electrical pigtail and any other wires.
Reinstall the drive belt and adjust it to the proper tension.
Fully tighten all mounting bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications.
Reconnect the battery, starting with the positive cable.
