It provides essential galvanic corrosion protection for your engine's underwater components while also serving as a trim tab to counteract propeller torque.

It serves as a direct interchange for Mercury part numbers 822777A1 and 822777Q1, MerCruiser 46399A1, and aftermarket equivalents including Sierra 18-6014 and GLM 12680.

Installation Notes

Disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning work.
Locate and unbolt the old trim tab anode from the underside of the anti-ventilation plate.
Thoroughly clean the mounting surface on the gearcase. A clean, bare metal contact area is essential for proper conductivity. Do not paint the anode or the mounting surface.
Position the new anode and install the included mounting bolt.
Tighten the bolt to the engine manufacturer's recommended torque specification. Do not overtighten.
Reconnect the negative battery cable.
