Troubleshooting & FAQ
How can I confirm this impeller is correct for my engine?
First, check your engine's model, horsepower, and year against our compatibility table. Second, cross-reference your existing impeller's part number with our Part Number Matrix. If you are still unsure, compare the product images and dimensions to your original part before ordering.
What are the signs of a failing water pump impeller?
Common signs include the engine overheating at idle or low speeds, a weak or non-existent water stream from the "telltale" outlet, and visible cracks, tears, or brittleness on the impeller blades during inspection.
How often should I replace my impeller?
As a general maintenance rule, it's recommended to replace your water pump impeller every 1-2 years or every 100-200 hours of use, whichever comes first. This interval can be shorter if you frequently operate in sandy, silty, or saltwater conditions.
OEM vs. Aftermarket?
This listing is an aftermarket replacement (not OEM). Built to OEM-level specifications with comparable materials. Manufactured in an ISO 9002 facility, batch-inspected for consistency.
