Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and allow the engine to cool completely.
Drain the engine block and exhaust manifold of coolant/water.
Carefully label and disconnect any wires, sensors, or hoses attached to the manifold.
Remove the mounting bolts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.
Gently remove the old manifold and gasket. Avoid damaging the head or manifold surfaces.
Thoroughly clean both the cylinder head and manifold mating surfaces. All old gasket material and corrosion must be removed for a proper seal.
Position the new gasket correctly over the alignment dowels on the cylinder head.
Reinstall the exhaust manifold and hand-tighten the bolts.
Torque the manifold bolts to the manufacturer's specified sequence and values.
Reconnect all hoses, sensors, and wires.
Refill the cooling system, reconnect the battery, and start the engine. Check for any exhaust or water leaks around the gasket.
