Installation Notes

1. Ensure the engine is off and cool, and disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2. Relieve any pressure in the fuel system by following the manufacturer's service procedure.
3. Place rags under the fuel pump to catch any gasoline and clamp the fuel lines to prevent spillage.
4. Carefully disconnect the fuel inlet, outlet, and pulse lines from the pump.
5. Remove the mounting bolts and take off the old fuel pump and gasket.
6. Clean the mounting surface on the engine block thoroughly, ensuring it is free of old gasket material.
7. Position the new gasket and fuel pump, then tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
8. Reconnect all fuel lines securely to their correct ports on the new pump.
9. Remove the clamps, reconnect the battery, and prime the fuel system.
10. Before starting the engine, carefully check for any fuel leaks around the pump and fittings.
