Installation Notes

Disconnect the boat's battery and allow the engine to cool completely.
If applicable, drain the engine coolant to a level below the intake manifold.
Carefully disconnect any fuel lines, electrical sensors, and linkages attached to the manifold.
Loosen and remove the manifold mounting bolts in the reverse order specified by your engine's service manual.
Remove the old gasket. Thoroughly clean both the cylinder head and manifold mating surfaces to remove all old gasket material and residue.
Position the new gasket correctly over the dowel pins. Do not use sealant unless explicitly required by the service manual.
Reinstall the intake manifold, hand-tightening the bolts first. Torque all bolts to the manufacturer's specified value and in the correct sequence.
Reconnect all lines, sensors, and linkages.
Refill the coolant if it was drained. Reconnect the battery.
Start the engine and carefully inspect for any air, fuel, or coolant leaks around the gasket seal.
