Installation Notes

Disconnect the vessel's battery and close the raw water intake seacock.
Place a catch pan under the pump to contain any spilled coolant or water.
Loosen the belt (if belt-driven) and carefully remove the intake and outlet hoses from the pump.
Unbolt the pump from the engine block and remove it for service.
Disassemble the pump on a clean workbench, noting the orientation of each part.
