Installation Notes

Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal and turn off the fuel supply.
Remove the engine cowling and air silencer/airbox to access the carburetor.
Carefully disconnect any fuel lines, linkages, and electrical connectors attached to the carburetor. Note their positions for reassembly.
Unscrew the mounting bolts or nuts holding the carburetor to the intake manifold.
Gently remove the carburetor. The old gasket may stick to either the carburetor or the manifold.
Carefully scrape away all remnants of the old gasket material from both mating surfaces. Use a plastic scraper to avoid gouging the metal. Clean the surfaces with a suitable solvent.
Position the new gasket onto the intake manifold, aligning it with the mounting studs or bolt holes.
Reinstall the carburetor, ensuring it is seated correctly against the new gasket.
Tighten the mounting bolts or nuts evenly and in a crisscross pattern to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications. Do not overtighten.
Reconnect all fuel lines, linkages, and electrical connectors.
Turn the fuel supply back on and check for any leaks. Reconnect the battery.
Start the engine and let it idle, checking again for any fuel or air leaks around the gasket. Adjust carburetor settings if necessary.
