Installation Notes

Remove the lower unit (gearcase) from the outboard motor.
Unbolt and remove the old water pump housing assembly.

Install the new wear plate, gasket, and impeller. Ensure the impeller key is correctly placed.
Slide the new housing over the impeller while turning the driveshaft clockwise.
Install new seals and O-rings as provided in the kit.
Bolt the new water pump housing securely in place.
Reinstall the lower unit, refill the gear lube, and reconnect the battery.
Start the engine in water and verify a steady stream of water from the tell-tale port.
