Installation Notes

Disconnect the battery and shift the outboard into neutral.
Place a drain pan under the lower unit and remove the drain/fill screws to empty the gear lube.
Remove the bolts securing the lower unit to the engine and carefully lower it.
Unscrew the bolts on the water pump housing to access the old impeller.
Note the old impeller's fin direction before removing it. Clean any debris from the housing.
Install the new impeller, ensuring the fins are oriented correctly (typically clockwise).
Replace gaskets, O-rings, and the wear plate with the new components from the kit.
Secure the housing, re-mount the lower unit, and refill with fresh gear lube.
Reconnect the battery and test the engine using a water supply (flusher muffs), checking for a strong tell-tale stream.
