Installation Notes

Disconnect the boat's negative battery cable before starting work.
Raise the sterndrive to the full "up" or "trailer" position to access all anode locations.
Remove the bolts securing each old anode. You may need to use a wire brush to clean the bolt heads first.
Thoroughly clean the mounting surface on the sterndrive where the new anode will sit. A good metal-to-metal connection is critical for proper function.
Position the new anode and install it using the new hardware provided in the kit.
Tighten the bolts securely, but do not overtighten. Ensure the anode is snug against the drive component.
Once all anodes are replaced, you can lower the drive and reconnect the battery cable.
